The Los Angeles Dodgers moved right-handed relief pitcher Chris Hatcher to the Oakland Athletics Tuesday.
Hatcher was traded to Oakland in exchange for international bonus slot money. The Dodgers reinstated utility man Rob Segedin from the 60-day disabled list to fill the vacated roster spot.
Hatcher dealt with a shoulder ailment for part of the season, but appeared in 36 2/3 innings for Los Angeles. He posted a 4.66 ERA with 43 strikeouts. The right-hander was drafted by the Marlins in 2006, and he made his debut in 2011. Hatcher was traded to the Dodgers in 2014 as part of the deal that saw second baseman Dee Gordon go to Miami.
